Health and Safety
As part of our commitment to creating the safest possible environment for our community, we require all attendees, staff, and partners to either be fully vaccinated and able to provide proof of vaccination or bring a negative COVID-19 antigen test report to the event. We will also be asking everyone to sign a health declaration form upon arrival.
In addition to the above attendance criteria, we will implement a set of operational planning measures to help create a clean and safe conference:
- Increased cleaning and sanitizing of the event space
- Decreased capacity and minimized congestion where possible across the venue
- Reduced contact interactions throughout the conference
What is considered fully vaccinated?
For the purposes of this guidance, people are considered fully vaccinated for COVID-19 ≥2 weeks after they have received the second dose in a 2-dose series or ≥2 weeks after they have received a single-dose vaccine. Proof of full vaccination can be provided as a screenshot from your vaccination provider or official certificate from the CDC approved list of providers (e.g., the CDC vaccination card).
What negative tests will be accepted?
A negative antigen covid test will be considered valid if taken at a Rapid Test Center. The test must be performed or interpreted by someone other than the individual being tested and must be conducted within 48hrs of arriving at the event. Please attend the event with a printout or screenshot of your result.
Are booster shots required?
While we recommend a booster dose, at this time it is not a requirement to be considered fully vaccinated. We will continue to monitor the recommendations and definitions of leading health organizations and will communicate should this change.
What will be included in the onsite health declaration form?
The conference health declaration form will require each participate to certify to the following upon arrival to attend the conference:
- Has not tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 2 weeks
- Not currently experiencing any symptoms consistent with COVID-19
- Not knowingly been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 2 weeks
Will masks be required at in-person conferences?
We will align with Miami-Dade State Country regulations on mask wearing. At this time, masks are not required to be worn. We will continue to monitor requirements and will confirm final plans a few days prior to arrival.
